Terms & withdrawal

1. Scope

These Terms and Conditions apply to all orders of digital sewing patterns placed via this website by consumers and businesses. The seller is Johnna Golly, Linje Patterns, Wentruper Weg 17, 48268 Greven, Germany (see Imprint). We sell to customers living in the countries offered in the cart: in the European Union and, where applicable, in other countries listed there.

2. Ordering and conclusion of contract

The presentation of the patterns in the shop is not a binding offer. This is how ordering works: you add patterns to your cart, enter your email address, accept the terms and confirm early supply. Before ordering, review your items, measurements, email address and total in the cart. Remove items with “×”, change measurements via “Change measurements” and correct your email address directly in the input field.

By clicking “Order with obligation to pay” you make a binding offer and are redirected to Stripe for payment. If you cancel the payment, no contract is concluded. The contract is concluded when we confirm your order by email after receiving payment.

We keep the contract documents for your order. You cannot retrieve them in the shop; you receive your order details, the terms applicable to your order, the withdrawal instructions and the model withdrawal form with the order confirmation by email. You can open your order and downloads via the link in that email and, with an account, under “Account”. The contract languages are German and English. We have not signed up to any specific codes of conduct.

3. Prices and payment

All prices are final prices in euros including statutory VAT. If you live outside the EU, no German VAT applies; the price stays the same. No shipping costs apply. Payment is made via the payment provider Stripe using the payment methods offered there.

4. Delivery of digital content

The files are available for download on your order page immediately after payment, and you also receive the link by email. You receive them in PDF format: the pattern per size and a file with all sizes, each in A4 and A0, plus the instructions. You need a PDF reader to open them. Made-to-measure patterns are calculated from your measurements after payment and are usually ready within a few minutes, at the latest 24 hours after payment.

5. Licence

You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to save and print the files for your own sewing. You may sew any number of items for private use, including as gifts.

Selling items you have sewn (for example at markets, on Etsy or in your own shop) is only permitted with a selling licence from us. Email us at info@golly-software.de; the conditions are set out in the licence.

You may not share, sell or publish the files or instructions, including edited versions. Your statutory rights of use are unaffected.

6. Withdrawal instructions

If you order as a consumer, you have the following statutory right of withdrawal. Right of withdrawal. You may withdraw from this contract without giving a reason within 14 days of the day the contract is concluded. Tell us clearly that you wish to withdraw. You may, for example, send a letter or an email or use the model withdrawal form printed below. Using the form is optional.

You may also use “Withdraw from contract here”, found at the bottom of every page of this website, on your order page and at linjepattern.de/withdrawal. We will promptly email you a receipt stating what you submitted and the date and time we received it. To meet the deadline, you only need to send your notice before the withdrawal period ends.

Effects of withdrawal. We will refund everything you paid without undue delay, within 14 days of receiving your notice. We will use your original payment method unless we expressly agree otherwise with you. We will not charge a refund fee. If you validly withdraw, you owe no compensation for digital content supplied.

Early expiry. For a paid download, your right to withdraw ends early if you expressly agreed to performance starting before the withdrawal period ends and acknowledged that you would lose that right when performance starts. We must also have provided you with confirmation of the contract and those declarations on a durable medium and started performance. With our download links, performance starts for this purpose when you start the download.

6a. Made-to-measure patterns

We calculate your made-to-measure pattern using the body measurements you enter and supply it as a PDF. Please check your details before ordering. The withdrawal instructions in section 6 apply, including the conditions for early loss of the right to withdraw. You have statutory remedies for non-conforming digital content. If there is a problem, contact info@golly-software.de. A made-to-measure pattern does not replace a fitting: we recommend sewing a test garment first.

6b. Model withdrawal form

If you wish to withdraw, you can complete this form and send it to us.

7. Reviews

Reviews on this website can only be submitted by customers who bought the respective pattern through this shop. Reviews are enabled automatically by matching the paid order in the customer account (free patterns from pattern testing do not count) and are marked “Verified purchase”. One review per person and pattern; editing and deletion are possible at any time. We reserve the right to hide reviews with unlawful, offensive or irrelevant content. Reviews are neither paid for nor filtered by star rating.

8. Statutory remedies

You have statutory remedies if digital content does not conform to the contract. If there is a problem with a file (for example a corrupted download), please contact us by email and we will gladly send the file again.

9. Final provisions

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. The choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of your habitual residence. You can order in German or English. The language version you select when ordering applies to your contract.
