What you get

What you bring

• A sewing machine and some experience. Anything a pattern particularly calls for is listed in the call.
• Your own fabric.
• Honest feedback on fit and instructions within the agreed time. Photos help us a lot but are optional.

How it works

1. Apply: Pick the profile that matches your size and apply.
2. Selection: We put together a group covering as many sizes as possible. If you're in, the pattern comes to you by email, free of charge.
3. Sew: You sew it from your own fabric and note what you notice about fit and instructions.
4. Feedback: On your personal page (link in the email) you send us your feedback on fit and instructions, ideally with up to 6 photos. We confirm receipt within 48 hours, and your discount starts then.

Questions

Do I need a lot of experience?

No. You should be comfortable with your sewing machine. Feedback from less experienced sewists shows us exactly where the instructions need to be clearer.

What happens to my photos?

Photos are optional. If you agree, we use them internally to assess the fit. We only show a photo on the product page if you have released it individually on your page, without your name. If you take the release back, it disappears immediately. Photos we don't show are deleted once the pattern is released, 12 months after upload at the latest. You may photograph the garment without wearing it and pixelate or cover yourself.

What if the pattern doesn't fit me well?

That's exactly what we want to know. Describe where it pulls or wrinkles and send photos. That's how we improve the pattern before release. You still get your discount.

How do I get the discount?

Once your complete feedback has arrived, we confirm it by email within 48 hours. From that day your discount applies for 12 months, automatically in the cart when you're signed in with the email address you applied with. Every further test extends it to 12 months from that confirmation.

What happens to my size?

We only ask for your usual clothing size, no body measurements. We only use it to put the group together and don't share it. We delete it automatically 3 months after the call ends at the latest, or immediately on request.
