Linje Patterns is a small pattern label from Germany. Every pattern is test-sewn, graded in all sizes and comes with instructions that still help the third time around.
How a pattern is made
It starts with a piece we want to wear ourselves. The base pattern is drafted to our own measurements, test-sewn and changed until it fits. Then we calculate all sizes and have them checked by testers in other sizes. And because no size chart fits every body, our patterns are also available made to measure from your own measurements.
FAQ
How do I print the pattern at home?
Print the A4 file at 100% without scaling. A test square on page 1 shows whether the size is right. Tape the pages together at the marks. The help page explains it step by step.
Which size should I choose?
Measure bust, waist and hips and compare with the size chart in the pattern: hips count for trousers, bust for tops. If you're between two sizes or your measurements don't match any size, made to measure is the easiest solution.
May I sell what I sew?
Yes, with a selling licence from us. Just email us at info@golly-software.de. For private use and as gifts you may sew as many items as you like without a licence. Nobody may share the files themselves.
Is there a printed version?
Not yet. The shop starts with PDF downloads. Printed sheets and our own garments are planned for later.
